Squeaking noise over bumps, goes away with brakes????
Use Goodbye Spammer on bellracer22.
I have a '03 silverado z71 ext cab that has recently been giving a squeak or chirp noise when I hit bumps. If I hit brakes while going over same bump the noise isnt there but if I roll over it without brakes I get the chirping. Caliper is tight, replaced wheel bearing about 8,000 miles ago, also had to replace drivers front caliper, front rotors and pads. Noise is coming from drivers front (I think). Any ideas on what this could be?
thanks

thats my vote, sometimes the new parts don't actually match for the new models. i tried to have a remote start in my silverado installed right after the new body style came out and found that chevy's starters weren't compatible yet
